Meet The Owner,
Lori DeNicola
Hey You! Thanks so much for stopping by. My name is Lori DeNicola and I am the owner and lead designer of Petaloso. I’ve been in the floral industry for almost two decades now and the world of arts my entire life. In college, I was fortunate enough to intern with a very talented designer and my obsession with flowers took off from there. I’ve always been a nature lover and creative at heart, so I am tremendously grateful to spend each day doing what I love most!
I design weddings + events, custom floral installations, and creative arrangements for product placement and television sets—approaching each and every project with intention and artistic vision.
From Chicago to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Virginia, London and Italy, I’ve studied floral design all over the world under many incredible florists including Holly Chappel, Francois Weeks, Amy Merrick, Amy Osaba, Christy Hulsey, and Robbie Honey and many more.I love to travel, can you tell?! Just another perk of the work!
I live on James Island with my two rescue pups, Olive + Luigi. I am a water child, so when I’m not with flowers you can find me paddle boarding, attempting to find my balance in a yoga studio, spending time with family, or off exploring a new city. I’m also passionate about community and volunteer for many local causes, you’ll likely see many posts about my commitment to the local chapter of the American Lung Association throughout the years.
I am so fortunate to have an amazing team, our home base is Charleston, SC. We travel worldwide for events and would love to come to you for your next big creative project!
If I were a flower I would be a hybrid Fringe Tulip. They’re bright and colorful, light seekers, and even after a Tulip has been cut from its roots it continues to grow—that’s right, you cannot keep a Tulip down!
I believe in human connection, so getting to know my Clients is not only important to the design process, but my favorite part of all. Let’s chat florals and your flower story!
I cannot wait to meet you and collaborate to bring your floral vision to life!
